Social Responsibility – Locally and Gobally

At Latarial Web Strategy we love providing small businesses with reliable websites. We enjoy building relationships with our clients, helping them succeed, and watching their companies flourish over the years. We are thankful for the skills and experience that enable us to make a difference in their lives. But while we happily type on our high speed computers, millions of people around the world are unable to provide for their families due to severe poverty, lack of clean water, and diminished economic opportunity. As long as this is the case, we will be dedicated to investing in impoverished areas through donation and outreach efforts.

Local Small Business Commitment

Green HomeSince the mass adoption of the Internet as a communication tool, the small business website has become a necessary tool for mom and pop shops around the globe to attract new business and stay competitive. Latarial is committed to providing local businesses with well-built websites they can use to further their business goals.

When we build a website for a local small business, we enable it to grow its economic potential. Each business we help in this way contributes to the overall health of the area (in our case, Redmond, Kirkland, Woodinville, Bothell, Bellevue, Seattle, Kenmore and the like).

Global Commitment

Water DropBut we don’t stop there. Latarial is also committed to being socially responsible to the world around us. We help spread the entrepreneurial spirit by donating resources to organizations that provide opportunities for others looking to innovate in ways that make life better for themselves and those around them.

We believe that financial investment, when used responsibly, has the power to save lives and provide a multiplying effect in economies around the world. In 2009, Latarial donated 30 percent of our revenue to World Vision’s Clean Water Fund to help provide clean water to people in need. In 2010, we donated one third of our profit to build a new irrigation system for a rice farmer in the Phillipines through World Vision’s Microfinance Loan Project.

We look forward to growing the impact of our work both locally and globally in the coming years.
